Shannon’s responsibility is to support you with your employability whether that is preparing you for your interviews or helping with CVs to connecting with employers to get you the best possible role!

In her spare time Shannon loves to listen to music of all genres from the 60s to R&B she listens to it all! She also enjoys walks outdoors and writing!

Rebecca Lewis

Careers, Enterprise and Progression Manager

Becky is our Careers, Enterprise and Progression Manager. Her role is to lead Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG) services across the college, including the ‘Careers and Ideas’ Hub and the CAVC group ‘one stop shop’ advice, guidance and transfer service.

Becky has always worked in Education and is passionate about providing opportunity for every student to access great careers education and guidance and to enhance their skills during their time here.

Something you might not know…

Outside of work Becky loves a good walk (or run) along a costal path or just curling up with a coffee and a good book. 

Liz Lewis

Career Coach

Liz provides careers education, information, advice and guidance to learners supporting them throughout the learner journey. Over the years she has been a Rowing Coach for Welsh Rowing, and she currently tutors the future generation of coaches.  Dedicated and passionate about her role in supporting students, she is currently undertaking her Careers Information Advice and Guidance qualification.

Melissa Wilson

Career Coach

Melissa has a background in university admissions and a keen interest in the education sector, it’s Melissa’s priority to ensure that all learners get the chance they deserve to achieve their goals. Melissa is looking forward to supporting all CAVC students throughout their learner journey.

Kevin Doherty

Career Coach

Kevin is originally from Ireland, having moved to the UK to study English and Drama at University. Over the years he has worked at numerous student unions, universities and colleges in a pastoral care role and he is excited to get to meet the CAVC students to help them with their career paths or just as a friendly face to come to seek advice and guidance from.

In his spare time he loves watching films (proud Cineworld card holder) reading fantasy or mystery novels and also creative writing.
